David's Day off is a game created for the 2023 Hidden Heroes game jam. The prompt was to make a game based on an otherwise unseen role model in your life and show how they inspire you. In a team of ten designers, I and my fellow Senior Capstone students decided to make a game about the hilarious, epic, alien slaying adventure of our game design professor: David Abzug. In 48 hours, we created the game and managed to win third place in the game jam overall!
In this game, I designed and illustrated the game's enemies. I wanted to make them look as goofy as possible to fit the mood of our project.
