StudyBank is a prototype app concept that I developed for a UX design class. We were tasked with creating the framework for a hypothetical app as if we were actually developing it for real. I decided to create the concept for StudyBank, an app to be used by students to assist in the studying process. It would be an app that would makeĀ finding particular articles, research, or textbook materials much easier.

Designing an app from the ground up taught me many important principles of UI / UX Design, such as:
Defining the goal of an app and its target audience
Human centered design: making an app easily accessible to its target audience
Creating moodboards, user flows, empathy maps, quad charts, and golden threads
Analyzing competition and finding out what users respond well to
Conducting user surveys and receiving user feedback
Wireframing app prototypes on paper
Using Adobe XD and Illustrator to develop working app prototypes

Developing StudyBank gave me many useful skills that I hope to utilize in the future. It was challenging at times, but I am decently satisfied with the work I was able to do!
