Mockup I made for the intern-wide Unreal Prototype.

During my time as a UI intern at Volition, I learned Unreal Engine and worked on many different UI mockups. This culminated in designing and implementing UI assets into an Unreal Project. 
In my first attempt at really diving into Unreal Engine, I was able to make RTS-style camera controls and a GUI panel for console commands. I want to keep developing this further in the future! I made this by following a tutorial, but hope to branch off in my own direction later.
My next major Unreal project was creating a spatial inventory system, where each item goes into a compartment system and takes up physical space. For this, I followed a tutorial series on Youtube (credit to Reids Channel's spatial inventory tutorials). Once again, I hope to customize this and build on it more in the future.

During my internship, I really stepped up my UI design skills by learning from two of the experienced UI Artists at Volition. I got a lot more practice creating mockups in Figma and Illustrator.
